Dog De-shedding Treatment in Dubai

Huskies, German Shepherds, Labradors, Golden Retrievers — Dubai's constant air-conditioning confuses double coats into shedding all year. Our de-shedding treatment removes the loose undercoat properly, so it ends up in the van, not on your furniture.

The de-shedding process

  • De-shedding shampoo & conditioner to loosen dead undercoat
  • High-velocity blow-out that removes what brushing can't reach
  • Undercoat raking with proper tools
  • Finishing brush-out

Added to a bath & brush or full groom for AED 60. Expect a dramatic reduction in shedding for 3–5 weeks per session.

What de-shedding is NOT

It is not shaving. Double-coated dogs should almost never be shaved — the coat insulates against heat as well as cold. If someone offers to shave your Husky, walk away. We de-shed instead: same relief, no coat damage.

Frequently asked

How often should I de-shed my dog?

Heavy shedders benefit from a de-shed every 4–6 weeks, especially in Dubai's spring and autumn coat-blow seasons.

Will de-shedding stop shedding completely?

No treatment stops shedding entirely — it removes the loose undercoat so what would land on your floors over weeks comes out in one session.

Does it hurt the dog?

Not at all when done with correct tools and technique. Most dogs enjoy the blow-out once they get used to it.

Is de-shedding available for cats?

Yes — as an add-on from AED 30. Especially useful for long-haired cats during seasonal coat changes; reduces hairballs and home shedding.
