Overgrown nails change how a dog stands and walks, and on Dubai's indoor floors they never wear down naturally. If you can hear clicking on the tiles, it's time.
Trim or grind?
- Trimming — quick and precise with professional clippers
- Grinding — smooths edges and lets us take dark nails shorter safely; better for dogs scared of clippers
Nail care is included in every bath & brush and full groom. As a standalone add-on visit within our zones: from AED 30–40.
Nervous about nails?
Many dogs have had a bad nail experience. We go slow, reward heavily, and stop before stress takes over — building tolerance beats forcing it. Black nails (no visible quick) are ground gradually, never guessed at.
Frequently asked
How often do dog nails need trimming?
Every 3–4 weeks for most indoor Dubai dogs. If nails touch the floor when standing, they're overdue.
What if my dog's nails are black?
We shorten dark nails gradually by grinding, watching the cross-section — the safe method when the quick isn't visible.
Do you cut the dew claws too?
Always — they never touch the ground, never wear down, and are the ones that curl into the leg when forgotten.
What's the difference between nail trimming and grinding?
Trimming clips the nail; grinding files it to a smooth, rounded finish. Some dogs tolerate the grinder better than clippers — both are available.
