What a puppy's first groom looks like
We keep early sessions short and positive: gentle introduction to the van, a warm bath with mild chemical-free shampoo, low-speed drying, light brush-out, nail tips and lots of breaks. Haircuts come later, once your puppy is confident being handled. The goal of visit one is a happy puppy — not a perfect finish.
When can my puppy be groomed?
After their core vaccinations — usually around 12–16 weeks. Starting within a few weeks of that window builds tolerance early; puppies who wait a year for their first groom find it much harder.
