Bad breath is usually the first sign a pet's teeth need attention. Blush N Paw offers teeth brushing as an add-on to any mobile grooming visit — pet-safe enzymatic toothpaste, soft brushes, gentle handling, from AED 30.
What our teeth brushing includes
- Brushing with pet-safe enzymatic toothpaste (never human toothpaste — it's toxic to pets)
- Gentle introduction for pets new to brushing
- Fresher breath and reduced plaque build-up between vet visits
Honest limits: brushing vs veterinary dental cleaning
Grooming teeth brushing is maintenance — it slows plaque. It does not remove hardened tartar below the gumline; that requires a veterinary dental scaling under anaesthesia. If your pet has brown tartar build-up, bleeding gums, loose teeth or refuses food, see your vet first — we'll happily maintain the results after.
How often?
Daily brushing at home is the gold standard; realistically, adding teeth brushing to every 4–6 week groom plus occasional home brushing keeps most pets' mouths noticeably healthier. Cats benefit too — feline dental disease is common and under-treated.

Frequently asked
How much does pet teeth brushing cost?
From AED 30 as an add-on to any grooming visit — dog or cat.
Is grooming teeth brushing the same as a vet dental cleaning?
No. Brushing is maintenance that slows plaque; removing hardened tartar below the gumline needs a veterinary scaling under anaesthesia. We're honest about which your pet needs.
What toothpaste do you use?
Pet-safe enzymatic toothpaste only — human toothpaste contains ingredients toxic to dogs and cats.
Can you brush my cat's teeth?
Yes — gently and briefly, adapted to feline tolerance. Cats with visible dental disease should see a vet first.
How often should my pet's teeth be brushed?
Ideally daily at home; adding it to every grooming visit is a realistic baseline that noticeably helps.
